Cyprien Gaillard (b. 1980, Paris) is contemporary artist celebrated for his multidisciplinary practice spanning film, photography, sculpture, installation, performance, and public interventions. Raised partly in California, he later studied at École cantonale d’art de Lausanne (ECAL, 2004–05) before settling in Berlin and New York.
His work has been shown internationally at venues such as MoMA PS1 (New York), Hammer Museum (Los Angeles), Centre Pompidou (Paris), KW Institute (Berlin), Venice Biennale, Palais de Tokyo (Paris), and Tate Modern (London)
