Piero Golia

Piero Golia (born 1974 in Naples, Italy) is a Los Angeles–based conceptual artist renowned for his bold, often enigmatic creations that dissolve the boundaries between sculpture, performance, and installation. His work frequently involves the orchestration of events or the fabrication of objects that subvert traditional artistic conventions, inviting audiences to experience art in unexpected and provocative ways.

Originally trained in chemical engineering at the Università Federico II in Naples, Golia shifted his focus to the art world in the late 1990s. Since moving to Los Angeles in 2002, he has cultivated a diverse and compelling body of work distinguished by its conceptual precision and theatrical sensibility.
